Thea Pratt lives in Montreal, Quebec. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology she decided to focus her love of art to the pursuit of a career in film animation. She cut her teeth on the technical aspects of animation by working as an animation stand technician, first for the NFB and later shooting credits, titles and trailers for commercial films. She worked as a puppet animator for a television commercial and later as key animator on a stop-motion children’s television series for Salter Street Productions. She is currently completing an independent production of a puppet animation film.
