Kevin was born in Media, Pennsylvania to Canadian parents, but subsequently grew up in Vancouver, Mississauga, and finally, the suburbs of Ottawa. He spent a year in the Fine Arts department at Concordia, in Montreal, but realized that he was not going to become a “fine” artist. Kevin then fled to the mountains, and in an attempt to pursue some kind of visual arts (but avoid the “fine” part), he went through the animation program at Emily Carr, in Vancouver. Which was absurdly close to the mountains. And there he has stayed.
