Heather Harkins is an independent animator in Halifax with two low-fi short films under her belt already, The 8 Husbands of Zsa Zsa Gabor and Duncan’s Cove. She is deeply involved in independent filmmaking in Halifax and teaches animation workshops for the Atlantic Filmmakers Co-op. Harkins is also a prolific producer of ‘zines of all sorts, including her many adventures to film festivals and locales around the world.
