Inspired by found sound of two dogs growling, proudly animal-friendly, and produced as part of the 10th edition of the NFB’s Hothouse apprenticeship.

Encouraged to paint on walls and build her own toys, Alexandra Lemay grew up embracing her artistic instincts. After discovering a passion for stop-motion while completing her BFA in Film Animation at Concordia University, Alexandra went on to study Practical Effects at Sheridan College. Her experiences outside the filmmaker’s chair allowed her to work for museum exhibits, special effects studios, and costume shops.
