Watch Balloons

Jonas was born in Campinas, Brazil 21 years ago. Along the way, he majored in filmmaking at the Federal University of Sao Carlos. Soon after, he decided to make animations, applied for the NFB Hothouse 4 and started a new episode in life.

Artist statement:

Balloons is an observation of the human notion of possessing natural resources. In an exaggerated way, the film deals with the selfishness, meanness and arrogance within the idea that we can use the important things in life for our own private amusement.
