Anne Koizumi
Anne Koizumi was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. At 19, she moved to Vancouver to study at the University of British Columbia, where she became involved with the UBC Film Society. The following year she was accepted into the UBC film program and began her studies in film with a specialization in animation. Anne left Vancouver for eleven months to study Japanese in Kyoto, Japan. She returned to finish her last year and completed the UBC program with her film Patricia Grey in 2004. She now lives in Calgary and is a member of the Quickdraw Animation Society.
